— Police have charged three men in the death of an unidentified man last month.

Demario Montrell Leach, 21, Demontae Antwan Leach, 26, and Michael Brandon Faison, 20, all of Mount Olive, have been charged with murder and were being held Wednesday without bond in the Wayne County Jail.

The unidentified victim was found injured on Feb. 22 and later died, police said.

Police were seeking the public's help in identifying the victim. He was described as a Latino man, about 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 108 pounds. He has a 2-inch scar running from his left eyebrow down around his left eye, and he also has short black hair, a thin black mustache and a goatee.

The victim was known to travel on foot in the Center Street and Cleveland Drive areas of Mount Olive and might have gone by the name “Arturo," police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or the Mount Olive Police Department at 919-658-5031, extension 102 or 104.

I taught all three of these boys. All the teacher's knew that there was a jail cell awaiting each one of them. Sad, but soooo true. Funny how things happen and school personel already know!

I totally agree with you mochabrown. Since murders think they are so bad, stick them in a serious situation where it's put up or shut up and see if they're brave enough to kill then. Besides in my eyes, they are the scum of society. Why "waste" a soldier's life when you have a perfectly good expendable one.

I keep saying, take thugs/hoodlums like thesewho commit murder and transport them to Afghanstan/Iraq/Iran and put them on the front line. Bring our soldiers home.

It's apparent that the prison system is not doing any good in housing them. Give them a few years and they are out on probation (only for them to continue committing crimes).

Give them a gun, chain them to a sandbag or something heavy where they can't move (see will they shoot then) and let see how bad they are when the Taliban comes after them...

    They probably "wet" their pants.
