LOUISBURG, N.C. — Three men were charged Wednesday in the July 3 shooting death of a man who was running from them, authorities said.

Ibin R. Williams, 21, of Nash County, was charged with first-degree murder, while Darius J. Horton, 17, and Quandrea D. Wilson, 18, both of Franklin County, were charged with being accessories after the fact of murder.

Authorities said the trio was trying to break into a known drug house on Ferrells Bridge Road when a pit bull scared them off. As they ran off, they came upon 29-year-old Corey Mann, who tried to flee from them but was shot in the back, authorities said.

Mann was found dead in a ditch along Ferrells Bridge Road by a nearby resident.
