— Three Camp Lejeune Marines were killed during combat Friday in Afghanistan, the military announced Monday.

Staff Sgt. David H. Stewart, 34, of Stafford, Va.; Lance Cpl. Brandon J. Garabrant, 19, of Peterborough, N.H.; and Lance Cpl. Adam F. Wolff, 25, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were all members of the 2nd Marine Division.

Ummm.......9/11..... Al-qaeda, who took responsibility, at the time based in Afganistan......whose leader was tracked down and killed in Pakistan. And don't forget the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombings.

It continues. We should have left there 10 years ago. Obama insisted we stay. What a waste of life and $$.

I don't mean to be argumentative, but I was in the Corps/first Gulf war, at the front, no in the rear with the gear. These Men/Marines died taking the fight to those, who led a major attack on U.S. soil. To complain at this point is not welcome. God bless there souls, and God bless the United States Marine Corps!
