Louisburg, N.C. — Three people were arrested Monday for a March home invasion where an elderly couple was tied up and robbed.
Kyle Anthony Clark, 19; Darius Revel Robinson, 22; and Jeremy Wright, 22; all of Louisburg, are each charged with first degree burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, larceny of firearms, robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of second degree kidnapping.
A fourth suspect, John Edward Daniels III, 21, is currently in the custody of the state Department of Corrections on unrelated charges. He will also be charged with the home invasion once transported back to Franklin County.
Investigators said three men, wearing masks, forced their way into a home on Gold Sand Road near Louisburg where a couple, a 65-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, had lived at the residence for 40 years.
The man was hit on the head before he and his wife were forced to the ground at gunpoint and tied up with a cord from inside the home, investigators said. The suspects took money, two guns and ransacked the house.
