"Maintaining a dwelling" is just a separate add-on charge, frequently to get someone other than the dealer or as leverage to increase the shopping list of charges on a defendant.

The charge is most common in situations where "mom" (who owns house where dealer "son" lives) has absolutely NO idea why those cars are pulling in to the driveway at all hours of the night.

"This amount of drugs is pretty much "street level." "

Yah I doubt he was "maintaining a dwelling" just for that.

This amount of drugs is pretty much "street level."

While the police should always be commended for their work, this is hardly newsworthy.
