Posted April 25, 2012

— Authorities have arrested three Rocky Mount men and are searching for another in connection with the shooting death of a Raleigh man Tuesday morning, a Raleigh police spokesman confirmed.

Daniel Lavon Norris, 26, was shot and killed early Tuesday at a home in the 4400 block of Waterbury Road.

Anthony Levon Deans, 19, and Tyson Christopher Davis, 21, were arrested around 5 p.m. Tuesday in connection with the shooting. Daquain Rashad Richardson, 20, was arrested early Wednesday. All three were taken to the Wake County jail Wednesday, and the investigation of the case is continuing.

Raleigh and Rocky Mount police worked together to apprehend the men, who all live in Rocky Mount.

A fourth man, Pedro Dashawn Bulluck, 20, also from Rocky Mount, remains at large. He faces a murder charge in connection with Norris' death, police said.

Anyone with information about the shooting or Bulluck's whereabouts is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357.

"Did they ever reveal the motive? Is it drug-related?" Cro

My guess would be drugs or gang. But you know that people kill for all kinds of reasons now not just the 2 mentioned. The fact that there are 4 involved now would lead me to believe that it would be drugs or gang or both.

I'll bet these 4 or 5 people are products of a terribly messed up cycle. Probably all they know is life on the streets with little parental involvement ----> Thats exactly right. If you don't parent your children, the streets will. And they will turn out exactly how you raise them to be.

"None of these suspects should have been walking the streets. It seems that in this country you have to murder someone before we give you more than a slap on the wrist."

Sad thing is, there are plenty of murderers walking the streets free as well because nobody will talk.

Maybe it is time to start holding the DA and Judges accountable for what goes on after they let criminals walk the street after they have been givin a slap on the wrist over and over again. I think families of victims should be able to sue for damages based on the justice system letting them down. I bet more would be in jail if they were held liable.
