This man’s snowy white hair has the internet confused about his age

Most folks dread the thought of emerging gray hairs. But instead of covering up the sign of aging, this man embraced it. Pawel Ladziak, also known as the “Polish Viking,” dyed his hair and beard a snowy white color, and it’s got the Internet pretty confused over his actual age.

Compounding the confusion is the fact that-hair color aside-he seems to be in the prime of his life. Just look at his physique, which he works hard to maintain, as is made apparent by his Instagram account.

So go ahead. Take a guess. How old do you think this man is?

And the moment of truth-he’s 35, not 65.

Speaking of his Instagram, since dying his hair, he tells Polish publication Wirtualna Polska, he’s noticed a spike in followers. At the time of this publication, he was sitting at almost 400,000. Not too shabby!

His followers are either slightly confused or amazed by his age.

They regularly post comments such as, “How old r u [sic]? 35?”

But, then, there are those who don’t care about his age. One commenter wrote, “IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW OLD HE IS! It matter that he LOOKS AWSOME!”

Agreed.

The war against anti-aging is one that people are bound to lose, which is precisely why the conception of aging is starting to shift. Allure recently banned the word “anti-aging” from the magazine, and if women can change the way they think about the aging process-so can men!

In fact, many already have.

According to WebMD, a survey conducted in 2oo2 revealed that 5.8 percent of men reported coloring their hair at home. In 2006, the number had dropped to 4.8 percent.

In a translated interview with Wirtualna Polska, Ladziak said, “I decided to dye because I started graying and I felt bad about it. Although I am 35 years old, such a whitish white hair I have enjoyed for a long time.”

So seems as though Ladziak is just ahead of the curve when it comes to embracing your body at any age, gray hair and all. And that definitely makes him worth following on Instagram, if you ask me.
