In the "This Is What I'm Thinking" video for the week, I chat about some ways to share kindness as a couponer in honor of Random Acts of Kindness Week.

To see the video, head to the Smart Shopper Facebook page. You are not required to have a Facebook page to view the video.

One of my favorite kindness quotes is from Maya Angelou: "People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel."

Please share any random acts of kindness you have done as a couponer or in any way recently. If someone offered a RAK to you, share that as well.

We have done a few random acts of kindness this week. My youngest daughter and I put together gallon size ziploc bags of snacks, bottled water, warm socks and a card with a little cash for the homeless folks in the area. We keep them in the car and give them to people in need when we are out and about.

I also paid for the car behind me in the Starbucks drive-thru yesterday and I hope it put a big smile on her face! My girls were very happy to get surprise Starbucks drinks, as well.

And remember, a RAK can be as simple (and frugal) as offering a compliment or a genuine smile to someone.
