Sofia the First and Jake and the Never Land Pirates are headed to the Durham Performing Arts Center for a live show Aug. 16. And, apparently because of the popularity, a third show - a matinee - has been added.

Tickets for the 11 a.m., Aug. 16, show officially go on sale on at 10 a.m., Wednesday. But you can start buying them now as part of a special pre-sale offer. This deal is good from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., today. To learn more about what's available and get your tickets early, click here.

Tickets for the 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. shows are going fast. For details about those, click here

I agree with edd189! My 6 and 3 year old would love this show, but $178 for a family of 4, plus gas, food, and parking is just not worth it. They'll just have to wait until we go to Walt Disney World later this year.

it's a shame these tickets are so expensive, I mean really my son is 3 years old and I am going to pay $50 for him to see a show. For a family of 3 that would be a afternoon cost $160, lets get a little more realistic Disney and DPAC.
