TheCoderSchool opens second location in Raleigh
Triangle couple plans to open as many as six more locations, which will offer after school and camp programs for kids ages 7 to 18 who want to learn about coding.
Posted — UpdatedTheCoderSchool, which teaches kids ages 7 to 18 coding skills, opened a second Triangle location over the weekend.
According to a press release, the business aims to "show a new generation of kids how galvanizing and stimulating technology can be, while coaching coding skills that are highly in demand and applicable across all industries."
“We are thrilled to expand theCoderSchool’s footprint in North Carolina,” said Weerasinghe in a press release. “There is clearly a massive need for coders and programmers in this country right now, but theCoderSchool’s goal is to show both parents and kids that learning to code does more than just open career doors – it’s also a great creative outlet that improves kids’ logic, ideation and creative thinking skills.”
