Monday

Check out the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences' new exhibit, Extreme Mammals. There is an additional cost to view this exhibit, but it is worth it learn more about this diverse collection of animals.

Tuesday

Sam Smith plays PNC Arena tonight. The show is a makeup date for his July 23 show that got postponed.

Wednesday

Enjoy some comedy tonight at Goodnights in Raleigh. They will be hosting Comedy Roulette, which is similar to "Whose Line?" Audience members place topics/phrases/words in a hat and they are picked at random. It's up to the comedians on stage to create jokes on the fly.

Thursday

TerraVita Food and Drink Festival kicks off today with its Culinary Capital and Building Community panel featuring chef Ashley Christensen among others. Also tonight, TerraVita holds its East Meets West Dinner featuring delicious cuisine from a variety of chefs including Lionel Vatinet of La Farm Bakery. There is also a Lambs and Clams after party.

Friday

TerraVita continues with its Sustainable Classroom sessions and a Hill Fire: Pits, Spits and Grills Dinner and after party.
Also today, the International Festival of Raleigh kicks off with 62 countries represented under one roof. There will be food, beer and dancing. The event runs through Sunday.
And LeAnn Rimes plays Carolina Theatre of Durham tonight.
