RALEIGH, N.C. — A five-day food festival, popular singers and beer dinners highlight the week ahead.

Monday

Head downtown for a fun workout. ShapeUp Downtown is a free outdoor fitness series held in City Plaza. Today's session will be a yoga workout.

Tuesday

Perfect for a warm spring evening, Jimmy Buffett performs this evening at Walnut Creek Amphitheater. Tickets start at $36.
Another NC Beer Month event is today. Lantern Restaurant in Chapel Hill and Fullsteam Brewery are teaming up for Spring in the Beer Garden, a cocktail-party style dinner. Tickets are $75.

Wednesday

Kick off the five-day TASTE 2014 food festival with an Opening Reception at TOPO Distillery. You'll be able to sample local dishes and talk with other guests, including North Carolina cookbook authors. Tickets are $45.

Thursday

TASTE 2014 continues today with the Grand TASTE Experience at DPAC. Tickets are $85 and include samples of wine, spirits, coffee, pastries and many other chef offerings.
ORO is hosting a four course Gizmo Brew Works beer dinner this evening. Tickets are $45. 
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band play PNC Arena. Tickets start at $68.

Friday

The 32nd Annual Fayetteville Dogwood Festival kicks off today with a performance by The Marshall Tucker Band.
Jazz fans will flock to Durham today for the start of the Art of Cool Festival. There is a free party on Friday with food trucks at Durham Central Park. Single day tickets are $65, and two-day passes are $120.
