Monday

The Raleigh Ringers will perform their annual holiday concert Monday at Meymandi Concert Hall. Tickets start at $17.

Tuesday

Head to Winterfest in downtown Raleigh's City Plaza for some skating today. Admission is $10 and includes skate rental.

Wednesday

See one of our favorite Christmas movies - Die Hard - at Colony Theatre on Six Forks Road in Raleigh tonight.
Also tonight, head to Raleigh Memorial Auditorium for An Irish Christmas. The show features storytelling, music, song and dance.

Thursday

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens tonight. Get a list of local showtimes.
To help celebrate the film's opening, Park West Village in Morrisville will have characters on hand to take photos with fans. The evening will also include a costume contest from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in front of Stone Theatre. There will be a drawing for Star Wars tickets, good for any showing, including opening night. One person will even win free movie tickets for a year.

Friday

The Santaland Diaries opens tonight at Theatre in the Park. The show features Crumpet the Elf reliving his tale of his brief stint working at Macy's "Santaland" attraction in New York City. The show is not meant for children.
