The Buddy Holly Story opens at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium tonight. The musical runs through Sunday.
Wednesday
Tony Award winner and the singer of "Let it Go" Idina Menzel will play Red Hat Amphitheater tonight. Tickets start at $35.
If you love John Cusack, you are in for a treat tonight. Local 506 will be showing a double feature of "Better Off Dead" and "Say Anything."
Thursday
Grammy Award winner Sam Smith plays PNC Arena tonight. Tickets start at $35.
Also tonight, learn about the Science of Sour at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham. If you love pickles, poi and other sour tastes, then this even is for you. Tickets are $25.
Friday
Aviator Brewing will play host to 50 Shades of Food tonight. This 50 course experience starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 for individuals and $95 per couple.
Some live music tonight: R&B singer Will Downing plays Red Hat Amhitheater, while participants in Girls Rock North Carolina's summer camp take the stage at The Pinhook.
