RALEIGH, N.C. — Enjoy craft beer and stand-up comedy this week.

Monday

Raleigh Beer Week continues through Sunday with fun events, like tap takeovers and beer dinners, every day. Today's big event is Casks for a Cure at Big Boss Brewing, a fundraiser for the ALS Association Jim "Catfish" Hunter Chapter.

Tuesday

Enjoy dinner and a comedy show during Open Mic Night at Goodnight's. Admission is $5, or free if you're purchasing dinner.

Wednesday

Lyle Lovett and His Large Band perform at the DPAC Wednesday evening. This is the Grammy Award winner's third performance there. Tickets start at $45.

Thursday

Comedian Carlos Mencia takes the stage at Goodnight's Thursday evening. Shows continue through Saturday. Tickets start at $35.
Thursday night is the last Pickin' in the Plaza concert in downtown Raleigh for the season. Acoustic Manner and Hey Brothers are performing. 

Friday

Another night of comedy, this time in Durham. Paul Mooney, who wrote for Richard Pryor and "Saturday Night Live," performs at the Carolina Theatre Friday evening. Tickets start at $32.
