RALEIGH, N.C. — A look at what is going on this week in the Triangle.
Monday: Take a break from holiday shopping and unwind at a Sip and Paint Party fundraiser for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. Bring your own wine, beer or alcoholic beverage while you paint your own masterpiece at Artistic Abandon in north Raleigh. Tickets are $35 and reservations are required. Fifty percent of the proceeds go to the food bank.
Tuesday: Singer Natalie Cole plays the DPAC. Tickets start at $45. 
Wednesday: Bring the children to see Disney on Ice: Let's Celebrate! The show features all of their favorite characters - Mickey, Minnie, Alice, Mad Hatter, Buzz Lightyear and more.
Thursday: The annual Capitol Tree Lighting starts at 6:30 p.m. on the state Capitol Grounds. Seasonal music and activities highlight this annual event.
