RALEIGH, N.C. — Let the good times roll in the Triangle this week! Here are few events to help get you through the workweek:
Monday: Four of the funniest comics from Wilmington will be bringing laughs to Tir na nOg in downtown Raleigh during the Port City Comedy Takeover. There is an $8 cover charge at the door.
Tuesday: It is Fat Tuesday and Durham is the place to be. Join their walking parade from CCB Plaza at 7 p.m. or go straight to Rigsbee Avenue for the block party starting at 7:30 p.m. There will be five stages of music and lots of food.
Wednesday: Jazz, funk fusion band Snarky Puppy plays Southland Ballroom in downtown Raleigh. Tickets start at $17.
Thursday: North Carolina's own Delta Rae plays Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. Tickets start at $20.
Friday: Legends from UNC, Duke and NC State lead their teams in a unique basketball skills contest to win bragging rights and funds for their official charities. The Big 3 Live Fearless Legends Game will be at The Cage at American Tobacco in Durham at 6 p.m. General admission tickets to the game are $50.
