The week ahead: LeAnn Rimes, downtown Raleigh concert series

— Our highlights for the workweek ahead: 

Monday: Raleigh Brewing Company Beer Dinner at Cameron Bar and Grill - Five course dinner with beer pairings, $50 per person (the amount includes tax and gratuity) 

Tuesday: Durham Bulls vs. Buffalo Bisons - The Bulls take on the Triple A affiliate for the Toronto Blue Jays. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. 

Wednesday: Music in the Valley with Suicide Blondes - This 1980s inspired band will play Crabtree Valley Mall's free outdoor music series. Show starts at 6 p.m. 

Thursday: LeAnn Rimes performs with the North Carolina Symphony at Meymandi Concert Hall Tickets start at $38.

Bonus Thursday pick: The Oak City 7 music series kicks off in downtown Raleigh with Orquesta GarDel, Old Quarter, Erin Nenni Band and Peak City Blues. 

Looking ahead to the weekend: Everclear, Iron Man and Fuquay-Varina celebrates downtown. More on those events later this week.
