RALEIGH, N.C. — Some holiday events coming up this week and an excuse to wear that ugly holiday sweater.

Tuesday

Join Out and About for an Ugly Christmas Sweater party at Gonza Tacos Y Tequila in Wake Forest tonight. Registration is required. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. and will include free appetizers and prizes for the ugliest sweaters.

Wednesday

Capital City Clauses hold the annual Jingle Ball tonight at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. Tickets have sold out.
Also tonight, Theatre in the Park's A Christmas Carol starts its run. Starring Ira David Wood III, this is a show not to be missed.

Thursday

Raleigh Little Theatre presents the musical comedy "Cinderella" tonight. This is a special night for the show as $10 from every ticket purchased will go to provide warm, winter coats for local children in need.
Also tonight, Disney on Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic at PNC Arena. The show will feature some of Disney's most popular and iconic characters.

Friday

Head to Park West Village in Morrisville this weekend for Magical Winter Lights. Shows are Friday through Sunday and begin at 6 p.m. in front of Stone Theatre. These outdoor shows will have real falling snow, carolers, a free train to ride on and free story time with Santa.
