The week ahead: fun, bluegrass

This week it is all about live music with fun. playing Red Hat Amphitheater and the Wide Open Bluegrass Festival hitting downtown Raleigh.

Get through the workweek with these events: 

Monday: NC Symphony at buku - great food and music. 
Also, the cast of the soap opera "Days of Our Lives" will be signing copies of their new lifestyle book at the Regulator Bookshop in Durham at 7 p.m. 
Tuesday: Five-string banjo master Bela Fleck plays with the NC Symphony.
Wednesday: Indie-pop band fun. plays Red Hat Amphitheater.
Thursday: The International Bluegrass Music Association Awards is held at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.
Friday: The IBMA Wide Open Bluegrass festival kicks off in downtown Raleigh with a free street festival and performances at Red Hat Amphitheater and Raleigh Convention Center.
