RALEIGH, N.C. — The popular competition dining series begins this week and there are several fun events happening at the DBAP.

Monday

The popular restaurant competition Fire in the Triangle kicks off today with Flights facing off against Cantina 18! In this "Iron Chef"-style competition, local chefs create three courses with a secret local ingredient. Diners get to vote and choose the winner, who will then go on to the next round. Tickets start at $59, and there are also battles on Tuesday and Wednesday this week.

WRAL Out & About is the official blogger of Fire in the Triangle, so stay tuned for battle previews, interviews and more coverage!

Tuesday

If you didn't get a chance to see it over the weekend, head to the movies and see a new movie, "Think Like A Man Too."

Wednesday

A fun event for humans and dogs, Bark in the Park, is this evening at the DBAP. Special ticket packages are available.
Throwback to the 90s this evening with the Counting Crows and Toad the Wet Sprocket, who play Red Hat Amphitheater. Tickets start at $29.50.

Thursday

More fun at the Durham Bulls game this evening – it's Swim Team Night, so there will be a parade of local swim teams before the game. It is also 90s Night and there will be $1 concessions.

Friday

Country band Little Big Town plays Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Tickets start at $35.
