The week ahead: Cheese Please, beer dinner

RALEIGH, N.C. — We hope you're hungry! Some mouthwatering events are happening in the Triangle this week.

Monday

Grammy Award-nominated singer David Gray plays Red Hat Amphitheater Monday evening. Tickets start at $30.

Tuesday

If you enjoyed the North Carolina Museum of Art's Bull City Summer exhibit, head to Quail Ridge Books for a talk about the book, "Bull City Summer: A Season at the Ballpark." Speakers include editors, contributing writers and photographers.

Wednesday

Sample local cheese at the Downtown Raleigh Farmers' Market's Cheese Please! event. There will be a grilled cheese contest, live music, food trucks and more.
Another food event: The Washington Duke Inn hosts their last Summer Beer Dinner with Fullsteam Brewing. Tickets are $49 per person, or $39 for Executive Club Members.

Thursday

The new Glenwood Live Concert Series continues this week with live music by Katelyn Read. There will also be restaurant specials and craft beer, wine and margaritas for sale! This is a free event.

Friday

Solas hosts a nighttime cultural arts show Friday. Allure combines art, fashion, photography, music and other forms of art. Tickets are $10.
