Monday
Instrumental rock guitarist Joe Satriani plays Carolina Theatre of Durham. Tickets start at $22.
Tuesday
The Carolina Hurricanes host a St. Baldrick's event at 4:30 p.m. at PNC Arena. The first 185 Canes fans who register to shave their heads to raise money to fund life-saving childhood cancer research will receive two tickets to watch that night's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Global H20 and triangle breweries host Beer for Water: Triangle Water Day at the City of Raleigh Museum. There will be beer samples and raffles. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
Get moving during CitySocial's Downtown Yoga event at All Saints Chapel in downtown Raleigh. Admission is $25.
Wednesday
Join members of Outside Soul and Chit Nasty Band for a Hump Day Funk Jam tonight at Deep South in downtown Raleigh. Admission is free.
Thursday
The highly anticipated super hero battle Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters tonight. Check back on Friday for a review of the film, which stars Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Superman).
Midtown Grille in North Hills hosts a four-course Brueprint Beer Dinner. Tickets are $60 per person. Proceeds benefit No Kid Hungry NC.
Friday
Singer-songwriter Laura Reed plays Cat's Cradle tonight. Tickets start at $10.
Dan Soder, of MTV2's "Guy Code," will play Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh this weekend. He has shows Thursday through Saturday.
