The "Teach Me" Store
The north Raleigh destination for teachers and parents - The "Teach Me" Store - will start a monthly storytime this week.

Owner Diane Weisbrodt tells me that the first program will be this Wednesday at 10 a.m. They will run on the first Wednesday of each month. The programs, which will include stories and possibly other activities, are designed for kids ages 2 to 7. The programs are free.

The store, which has been open for more than two decades and is a fantastic spot for educational toys, games, workbooks, books, craft supplies and more, is at 3520 Spring Forest Rd. There also are some play areas scattered around the massive store so your kids can play while you shop nearby.

I learned about the new program last week as my daughter picked out a couple of birthday presents for friends.
