The Penguin has been spotted with coupons!

The Penguin coupon display has been spotted! Here's the list of coupons hanging on our flightless friend!

The Penguin above was found at the Harris Teeter on Tryon and Walnut and included:

$1/2 Eggo
$1/1 TGIF
$1/2 Pictsweet Deluxe
$1/1 Kashi entree or pizza
$1/2 Morningstar veggie products

If you are not familiar with the Penguin, it is a display that stands about 5 feet tall and is in the shape of a Penguin. It is usually found in the frozen food departments of Harris Teeter and Lowes Foods about 3 times a year. The display has a number of coupons and recipe tear pads. Hopefully couponers will be good about only taking a few of each coupon so many people have a chance to snag some. I sure hope the Penguin still has some of the Morningstar veggie burger coupons when I spot him.

Feel free to post other locations where you have spotted the penguin as well.

I saw the penguin yesterday at Lowe's foods in Knightdale and IGA on New Bern Ave.

Just saw him at the HT at Falls Point Shopping Center in Raleigh. Still had plenty of coupons left! I took three of each of the ones I wanted. Most say DND.

Don't know if anyone posted the penguin being spotted at the Lowe's Foods in Brier Creek, but he was coming in as I was leaving this afternoon...my husband saw him and said turn around! I still consider myself new to using coupons and have never seen (or noticed) the penguin before today so I was excited!

FYI - I tracked the Penguin down at the Lowes Foods at 42 and 50. He still had all the coupons. jbk - I picked up a few of the Morningstar veggie coupons for you. Just send em an e-mail with your mailing address and I will send them this week. No trade needed. :-)

jbk - we also eat a lot of the Morningstar products. By the time I get to a penguin, if there are any of the Mornginstar left I will grab a couple for you, too. Those veggie burger coupons are hard to find!

They took away the penguin from the HT on main street. Probably until after super doubles. It went away when they were stocking after I grabbed one of each and it was gone when I made one more pass through for some yogurt. I was going to grab one more Eggo coupon and it was gone. :(

Hey folks,

I'm out of town and poor mr. Penguin will probably be plucked before I return. My daughter and I are vegetarians and use MorningStar products every day. If someone could grab a few of the MorningStar coupons for me, I will gladly trade for baby care coupons (my baby is 20 years old), pet food coupons (my fur babies eat prescription food, or meat coupons (see above). TIA

chichi - Costco coupons that are for a particular product, no, they won't accept them unless they are marked as manufacturer coupons with the proper bar code.
