The Penguin has been spotted & win some coupons!

Heads up couponers! The Penguin coupon display has waddled into one of our local Lowes Foods stores.

Thanks to Carolyn who sent me this e-mail:

"I wanted to let you know I spotted the penguin with lots of coupons & quick recipes cards!"

She was at the Lowes Foods in Brier Creek shopping center in Raleigh.

Contest

I have a challenge for you. The first person who takes a picture of the new Penguin coupon display and sends it to me via e-mail at saving@smartspendingresources.com will win an envelope of coupons AND the first person to post on this thread which coupons are on the display this time (product type and value of coupon) will also win an envelope of coupons!

Nancy - I suspect that you can find many of those tear pad coupons offered on e-bay and that is why people take the whole pad. Very bad form.

Texassheffner - that's pitiful that the naked pengiun has been sitting out since November!

Lately when I see a tear pad, or a pocket on a display, they're empty :( I've never seen it this bad before! Selfish people do this.

There are usually at least 50 coupons per pad, hard to believe they would disappear within a day or two of being put out unless people were taking everything they can :(

The penquin in the WF Lowes on Capital has been there since the holidays......completely stripped then and he's still there now!

I saw a naked penguin today too at Lowes foods on Millbrook. I would never take more than I knew I could use, and I don't have that many friends. The penguin bandit couldn't possibly use all those coupons. Oh Well....

There is clearly a Penguin bandit out there! And I bet he is really cold standing there naked in the frozen food section....

Apparently the penguin is an endangered species in this part of the world.

who keeps stripping the poor penguin? lol I'm hoping he finds his clothes (coupons) and waddles his way to the LF on Millbrook!

JustSoGrateful - I've seen the penguin at the Wake Forest Lowes near Kohls as well as the one at Gateway Commons. :-)

I spotted the penguin at Lowes food store in Cary at the corner of High house and Cary parkway. The penguin was totally naked robbed of all coupons just recipes left on it.
