CARY, N.C.The Lumineers will live stream their sold out show at Koka Booth Amphitheater in Cary Thursday night.
The band is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from the show will go directly towards The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and EqualityNC to help fight controversial House Bill 2, which requires people to use public bathrooms that match their birth gender and excludes gay and transgender people from discrimination protections.

"There’s no perfect way to protest this issue – we believe music is a way to bring all sorts of people together, and through that, encourage open-mindedness, love and acceptance," lead singer Wesley Schultz said. "As the Cleopatra World Tour makes its stop in NC during such a controversial time we think it is important to invest in the people and organizations that will make the state a better place.”

The band will also provide gender-neutral bathrooms as an option at Thursday's show.

The Lumineers are halfway through their Cleopatra World tour, which is nearly sold out.

Thursday night's live stream can be viewed on Live Nation TV’s Facebook page, YouTube Channel and LiveNation.com starting at 8:55 p.m.
