RALEIGH, N.C. — Move over Tinder, there is a new dating app on the market.

The League, a mobile-first dating app designed for highly ambitious individuals, encourages men and women to keep their standards high and meet someone "intelligently."

The app launches to a hand-selected group of about 500 Raleigh professionals at 12 p.m. on Monday.

Users must create a profile with six photos, and have the option to edit preferences to find their perfect match.

The League also boasts unique security and privacy features. Because the app require double authentication with Facebook and LinkedIn, it is able to block a user’s profile from coworkers, LinkedIn connections, and Facebook friends.

As of Monday morning, more than 3,700 people had applied to be part of Raleigh's “founding class”. The average age of an applicant in Raleigh is 27.5 years old, according to information provided by the app’s creators.

The League currently operates in more than 20 cities across the United States, including Charlotte, D.C., Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.

The app is available on iPhones and Androids.
