The Holly Springs Food Cupboard needs your help! They give away 600 - 750 pound of food to folks in need each month and their cupboard is a little bare right now.  If you have some extra food from all those great Harris Teeter Super Doubles deals to spare, it would go a long way.

Some of the most needed staple items include peanut butter, jelly, crackers, canned or dry milk and broth.

Their website also lists the following as needed items:

Jelly
Peanut Butter
Broth
Powdered Milk
Juice
Oatmeal/Cereal
Canned Vegetables
Dried Beans
Rice
Canned Meats (Tuna)
Canned Fruits
Mac & Cheese
Personal Care Products
Toilet Paper

Their website indicates that food donations can be made at the following locations in Holly Springs:

Camden Apartments - 100 Reunion Park Drive, Apex
Chamber of Commerce - 344 Raleigh Street, Suite 100
Edward Jones - 140 Oak Hall Drive
Fonville Morisey Realty - Sunset Lake Road
Health Source of Holly Springs - 500 Holly Springs Rd
Holly Springs Town Hall – Main Street
Sunrise United Methodist Church - 5420 Sunset Lake Road
The Little Gym - 7232 GB Alford Hwy
Village Family Practice - 351 West Center Street

You can also host a Food Drive or offer a monetary donation. For more information about the Holly Springs Food Cupboard, see their website at http://www.hsfoodcupboard.org/Home.php.

I saw another sad story on the news yesterday. Colleges are beginning to have food banks on campuses because sometime that is the only way some college students get to eat. Broke my heart bc I have one who will be going soon enough.

Thanks, mothar1! :-) Spread the word to your neighbors too, if you can! Happy Saturday!

I am sure they really appreciate your help and generosity, mother1!

This is the one I donate to, and I'm stopping off at HT today, gosh, makes me feel better about shopping super doubles for donations, got to admit. :)
