The Cary theater lines up Polar Express, other holiday classics

The Cary has some fun - and affordable - Christmas movies coming up for families.

Here's what's on the schedule of the theater in downtown Cary:

10 a.m., Dec. 6: Prancer, part of the theater's Film Day, Fun Day series for very young audiences. The theater pulls up the sits in the first couple of rows and puts down play mats so little ones can play and watch the movie at the same time. Tickets are $1.

7 p.m., Dec. 15 and Dec. 23: It's a Wonderful Life." Tickets are $5.

9:30 p.m., Dec. 15: A Christmas Carol (1938). Tickets are $5.

Dec. 16 through Dec. 18, various times: White Christmas Sing-A-Long (sing along with the songs in this holiday classic). Tickets are $10. These screenings have sold out in years past!

10 a.m., Dec. 20: The Polar Express. Tickets are $1.

9 p.m., Dec. 22: A Christmas Story. Tickets are $5.

5 p.m., Dec. 24: The Polar Express. Tickets are $5.
