Just in case you have to make a last minute trip to the grocery or drug store on Thanksgiving Day, here are the hours for our local stores.
Many grocery stores will be open in the morning, but some are closed all day.
These hours are valid Thursday, November 24, 2016. Keep in mind that some individual stores may be open later ot close earlier. Most of the hours posted below are from their sales ads this week.
Grocery and Drug Store Hours on Thanksgiving Day
Aldi will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Carlie C's will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 2 pm. They will be closing at 6 pm on Sunday November 27th for their company Christmas party.
CVS: Most CVS stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day. My local store is open from 8 am to 10 pm. The Pharmacy hours at stores will vary. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday.
Dollar General will be open Thanksgiving Day from 7:00 am - 10 pm.
Food Lion will be open until 3 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Harris Teeter will be open on Thanksgiving Day until 2:00 pm. They will reopen on Friday, November 25 at 8 am.
Kroger: Most Kroger stores will be open until 5 pm on Thanksgiving Day. Most will reopen at 6 am on Friday, November 25.
Lowes Foods will be open until 4 pm on Thanksgiving Day.
Publix stores and pharmacies will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
Rite Aid: Most Rite Aid stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day. Contact your store for specific hours on Thursday. Stores open at 7 am on Friday, November 25.
Target: Most stores will be open from 6 pm on Thursday, 11/24 – 10 pm on Friday, 11/25.
Walgreens: Most Walgreens stores will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 8 am to 10 pm. Some pharmacy locations will be open from 9 am – 5 pm.
Walmart: Most Walmart stores will be open regular hours on Thursday. My local 24-hour store will stay open as usual. The pharmacy in my local Walmart is closed on Thanksgiving Day. See your store for details.
