Texas Wildfire Spreads To Over 100 Acres And Threatens No Structures

Johnson City, Texas — A wildfire burning West of Austin near the Hill Country community of Johnson City, Texas has spread to 100 acres and is moving towards open land at this time.
Earlier, unconfirmed reports had indicated that numerous structures were threatened however, the Texas A&M Forestry Service has confirmed that no homes are threatened at this time.
As of 5:35 p.m. local time, emergency crews were working to contain what is being called the Trails End Fire.
The cause of the wildfire is still under investigation.
