Texas man sentenced to 15 years for assaulting pregnant girlfriend
A Lubbock, Texas man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after a judge found him guilty of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend, according to NBC affiliate KCBD.

The Texas television station reported that 30-year-old Jacob Pauda's then-pregnant girlfriend called police in Feb. 2016 claiming Pauda assaulted her and threatened her with a knife. Responding officers reported seeing bruises and cuts on the woman's face.
A Lubbock County judge found Pauda guilty last week, according to KCBD.
