CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The annual TerraVITA Food and Wine Event has released its full schedule of events for this year and it looks exciting as always. Tickets are on sale now.

In its fourth year, the TerraVITA celebrates the earth and life by pairing together the best organically-produced wine and microbrews with delicious meals incorporating locally-grown ingredients.

Everything kicks off Oct. 10 with a Harvest Dinner featuring never-before-seen clips and outtakes from "A Chef's Life," a PBS series that follows Chef Vivian Howard and her team from Chef and the Farmer in Kinston. One of Howard's protege's, Chef Jeremy Law of SoCo Farm and Food in Wilson, will be preparing this "Southern comfort" farm feast! The dinner is at TOPO Distillery in Chapel Hill. Tickets are $65.
The second day, Oct. 11, is packed with culinary workshops, food and beverage tastings and panel discussions. That night, the East Meets West Dinner will feature a six-course-farm-to-table menu prepared by Regan Stachler of Little Hen near Raleigh, James Clark of The Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill, and The Eddy’s Isaiah Allen in Saxapahaw. Dessert will be prepared by French Broad Chocolate Lounge of Asheville. Tickets for the day sessions and classes (including lunch) is $70 and a ticket to the East Meets West Dinner is $70-$80 depending on if you would like alcoholic beverages.
TerraVITA'S main event is the Grand Tasting on the Green, where chefs, chocolatiers, charcuteries and cheese makers from across North Carolina offer their finest goods, expertly paired with some of the world's best sustainably-produced wine and beer.

Many popular restaurants and food vendors are participating, including On the Square (Tarboro), French Broad Chocolate Lounge (Asheville),  Herons (Cary), Chef and the Farmer (Kinston),  Asheten's (Southern Pines), Little Hen (Holly Springs), Spring House (Winston Salem) and Cameo 1900 (Wilmington).

Early bird tickets to the Grand Tasting are available. A meal with alcohol is $65, and there is a special "designated driver" ticket option for $55.

A three-day TerraVITA pass, which includes four events and a VIP cocktail party, is also available for $270.
