If you have a teen looking for something to do during spring break, here's an option.
The Wade Edwards Learning Lab will host its Hot Wired digital music course from 9 a.m. to noon, April 1 to April 5. The course covers music production and tips and basics of the music industry. Participants will get to leave with a CD that they helped make.
I'm told this program, which the learning lab has held before, is really popular. The cost is $50 for the week. The learning lab is found on St. Mary's Street across from Broughton High School in Raleigh.
