Teen injured in Rocky Mount movie theater shooting

— A 16-year-old man was injured Saturday night when shots were fired outside a Rocky Mount movie theater, police said.

The teen was grazed by a bullet and police described his injury as non-life-threatening.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of Premier Theater, 821 Benvenue Road. Several people are in custody, police said.

An off-duty officer was working as a security guard inside the theater at the time.

No other information was released.

    I guess we will just keep reading of more and more shootings every day. Surly even the most obtuse among us must see that flooding the population with six shooters is not lowering crime but instead increasing it.
