— A 16-year-old faces charges for robbing a pizza deliveryman at gunpoint.

Police accused Taurean Wright of holding up a Pizza Hut employee during a delivery in Wake Forest last week.

According to the arrest warrant, the Wake Forest-Rolesville High School student stole more than $300, a large pizza and an order of cinnamon sticks.

He was being held at the Wake County Jail on Monday under $50,000 bond.

if the pizza delivery company knows about a bad neighborhood, then why do the residents allow the stuff to keep going on. how long will we depend on someone else to clean the filth from our society?

The shame of it too is that there are some communities that a pizza delivery person will not deliver to. If the pizza companies know what is going on in the neighborhoods, then why don't the police/sheriff's departments clean them up?

HandlewithCare You know where your child is at all times??
That is the most naive thing I have read today.

If only I had known that Taurean wanted a large pizza, cinnamon sticks, and $300 dollars to go . . .
Now basically his $325 bill with interest is $50,000!!

Joe Blow.... my son said that it was against policy for the delivery driver to have had that much cash on him. I was a bit astonished by it as well. I am not sure if he has had to pay it back yet, but if they would have done that to my kid it would have been is last day on the job at Pizza Hut.

"My son is a cook at Wake Forest Pizza Hut. He said Pizza Hut is going to make the delivery guy pay the money back that was stolen." -AR

What!?!?! Don't they have insurance? And I can't imagine he was carrying more than $100. That's pretty lame.

When he called in and placed his order he requested that the delivery guy bring plenty of change. That would have been a red flag if I was delivering.
