Teen charged with murder of woman in Wilson

— A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with murder Saturday night in connection with the death of a woman, according to the Wilson Police Department.

Officers found the woman, whose name was withheld, in the intersection of Vance Street and Maplewood Drive at about 9:35 p.m. According to police, EMS workers tried to revive her, but their attempts were unsuccessful.

Police were not releasing any information about the circumstances surrounding the woman's death, but several people who live in the aria said they remembered hearing a lot of commotion before police arrived.

The teen, whose name was not immediately available, was being held in the Wilson County jail under no bond.

According to investigators, an autopsy will be performed to assist with the determination of death.

    So in your mind this man should get 60 years already? But the autopsy isn't even out yet? Your a prime example of why minorities don't believe in the judicial system, if you was a jury, any evidence that the defense would present, in your eyes would be BS. Maybe he did murder this lady, but nothing is this article proves him guilty.

    Awesome!!! Another one that we will be supporting for the next 60 years or so. Mommy must be real proud of him. Of course that is assuming he knows who Mommy is.
