Tech problems push back Obamacare deadline

Posted October 28, 2013

The Obama administration says it's granting a six-week extension until March 31 for Americans to sign up for coverage next year and avoid new tax penalties under the president's health care overhaul law.

Monday's move had been expected since White House spokesman Jay Carney promised quick action last week to resolve a "disconnect" in the implementation of the law. Technical problems continue to trouble the website that's supposed to be the main enrollment vehicle for people who don't get health care at work.

Under the new policy, people who sign up by the end of open enrollment season won't face a penalty.

Previously you had to sign up by the middle of February, so your coverage would take effect March 1.

The extension is for 2014 only.

What is David Price saying to help those that got their current plans cancelled?

What does David Price say about OBAMA continuously saying "if you like your current plan, you can keep it"?

Remember, Congress, unions and company health plans are "delayed".

So right now only individual plans are being cancelled. The company health plans will will experience the same fate a year from now.

    The administration response.

The plans OBAMACARE provides is better for YOU. Not THEM.

Need a new photo of the website with the article. That lady is no longer on the website today after she demanded her image be removed from HealthCare.gov - nobody wants to be associated with this disaster.

They can't do this. It's the law. The law can't be changed. Elections have consequenses. You lost. Get over it. Win an election. They don't want millions of Americans to have Healthcare. They want Americans to die. The traitors!

Oh, it's just that easy and simple is it?
Have a concern or "glitch" if you will, and you delay the implimentation of Obamacare.

Hmm, where did I hear that suggestion recently??
    Delay Obamacare???

The website is just the normal Obama ineptitude- a worse issue is the bogus claims that you can keep your existing plans. "Buried in Obamacare regulations from July 2010 is an estimate that because of normal turnover in the individual insurance market, “40 to 67 percent” of customers will not be able to keep their policy. And because many policies will have been changed since the key date, “the percentage of individual market policies losing grandfather status in a given year exceeds the 40 to 67 percent range.” CNBC

Obama gives a whole six weeks pushed back for individuals. LOL. Many of the IT folks say it may take a full YEAR to fix the IT problems. And employers get a year delay. How fair is that?

"The Obama administration says it's granting a six-week extension until March 31 for Americans to sign up for coverage next year and avoid new tax penalties under the president's health care overhaul law."

Another illegal power grab. We used to be a nation of laws. Now this president Obama thinks he is the law.
