Tax pros offer advice today from 4 to 7 p.m.

Tax professionals from the North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents will answer tax questions on Tuesday, March 21.

Get FREE information about tax topics including how to file, how to reduce your tax debt or get answers about changes in tax rates.

Five on Your Side invited tax professionals from the North Carolina Society of Enrolled Agents to take your questions.

The phones will be open from 4 to 7 p.m.

If you can not get through, there are other resources available to get tax help.

  • VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Program) - Free tax help for low- to moderate-income people (generally, less than $54,000).
  • IRS Freefile - Anyone can use Freefile to prepare and file federal tax forms at no cost. Taxpayers who have an adjusted gross income of less than $58,000 can also go through Freefile to use software such as Turbo Tax and H&R Block for free.
  • AARP Tax Aide - A free program run by the AARP to help people with low to moderate incomes with their tax returns.
