Taste of summer is pie contest winner

Gail Fuller won the 2013 Pillsbury Pet-Ritz Pie Baking Championship at the North Carolina State Fair with her recipe for Kiwi Summer Lemonade Pie.
Kiwi Summer Lemonade Pie
1 Pillsbury Pet Ritz Frozen Pie Crust
6 tablespoons coarsely chopped macadamia nuts, divided
1 (6 oz) can frozen limeade, thawed
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
2 (8 oz) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3 kiwi fruits, peeled and sliced, divided
1 (6 oz) container plain yoghurt
1 1/2 cups whipped topping
Blind bake crust for 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
Remove crust from oven and prick with fork and continue to bake another 10 minutes.
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons macadamia nuts in the bottom of the pastry shell.
Whisk together limeade and vanilla pudding mix.
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with a hand mixer for 1 minute. Beat in powdered sugar. Add the limeade/pudding mixture and beat well. Set 3/4 cup aside.
Spoon remaining mixture into the pastry shell.
Top with 2/3 of kiwi slices.
Beat yoghurt into the reserved 3/4 cup cream cheese mixture until combined. Fold in whipped topping.
Spoon over filling in pie shell.
Cover and chill 8-24 hours. Garnish with remaining kiwi slices and nuts.
Makes 8 servings.
