Target toy clearance may go to 70% this week!

The annual January Target toy clearance is in full swing and this may be the week they go to 70% off! AllThingsTarget.com posted today that last year during this week, Target marked down their toy clearance to 70%.

If you head to Target this week, let us know if you find the toys marked down to 70% off. Many are already at 50% off. This is a great time to stock up for birthdays and holidays for the kids and their friends and relatives. It's also a great time to pick up toys to donate to Toys for Tots, Angel Tree and other charities next December.

The toy clearance at the Target at White Oak Center in Garner is currently marked down to 50% off as of today and the employee with whom I spoke said he had no idea when they next markdowns will occur.

Both Targets in Garner were 30% and 50% as of Friday 1/11 afternoon.

Target Christmas at North Hills is now at 90% off. They didn't have a ton of stuff left though. Picked up candy canes, garland, curling ribbon.

The toys are still 50% off there. I scanned a number of items just to be sure and they were all still 50% off.

I totally agree with you pss3! I drive by the HT every weekday and cannot wait for it to open! A Target would be a dream come true!

They've already marked down certain toys to 90% (!) but there are currently not always clearance or sale signs for some of these items. Over on TotallyTarget.com, found out about the 90% markdown of Tonka's Chuck & Friends Die Cast Cars. Price shown is $3.99, but they're scanning at $0.39! There were only a handful left at my local Target that I bought.

Don't forget to also scan the Christmas pajama sets, boxer shorts, slippers, etc. on sale in both the mens and womens departments as well - much of those are also scanning at 90% off, although their signage states otherwise. You can pick up these items for as low as $1.98 each!

Target is next on my wishlist for JoCo since we are getting an HT:)

I had heard about two years ago they were planning a location in Smithfield by the outlets...I really can't believe there isn't one somewhere in JoCo like 40/42 hint hint!

The Target at Triangle is at 50%. A CS rep said he thinks they are being marked down on Thursday.

As of last Thursday the Apex store had an entire aisle loaded with clearance toys at 50% off.
