Greenville, N.C. — A 26-year-old Tarboro man was shot and killed Wednesday evening outside a home on Westridge Court in Greenville, police said.
Officers responding to a shooting call about 8:30 p.m. found Anthony Johnson dead with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and legs.
According to investigators, witnesses said there was a confrontation between Johnson and at least two other men in the street prior to the shooting.
No arrests have been made, and police did not release any information about possible suspects.
Johnson, a Tarboro native, was living in the duplex on Westridge Court, police said.
No other information was immediately available.
