Officers responding to a shooting call about 8:30 p.m. found Anthony Johnson dead with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body and legs.

According to investigators, witnesses said there was a confrontation between Johnson and at least two other men in the street prior to the shooting.

No arrests have been made, and police did not release any information about possible suspects.

Johnson, a Tarboro native, was living in the duplex on Westridge Court, police said.

I agree. You should of heard my 10 year old (ELEMENTARY SCHOOL) son telling me what kids in his class and neighboring classes got for Christmas! He named at least 5 kids who "said" they got a gun. Please tell me why an elementary age child needs a gun!?!?!? This is so crazy! I can only hope that these guns were brought into responsible homes, with locked gun cases. Even still, why are we teaching kids to go to school to brag about and talk about guns!!!!!

What happened to fist fights and making up the next day. Wake up America get a grip
