Staff cuts forced Project Enlightenment to end its popular TALKline a while ago, but I'm so happy to report that it's back!

When it was running, the service was used by many a parent, caregiver and educator. Anyone can call in during specific hours with a question or concern about a child from birth through kindergarten. An expert will work to answer the questions. It's been a lifesaver for many a worried parent.

TALKline will resume on Tuesday. Calls will be answered from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Tuesdays, and 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays. The phone number is 919-856-7808.

We can all thank the Project Enlightenment Foundation for bringing back this great resource. Project Enlightenment is Wake County schools' early childhood education and intervention program.
