Swagbucks St. Patrick's Day scavenger hunt!
Starting at 11 am Monday morning, Swagbucks is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a fun Shamrock Scavenger Hunt - Swagbucks style! Read on for the details. If you are new to Swagbucks, it's a great rewards site that allows you to earn gift cards to places like CVS, Amazon, Starbucks and more!
Posted — UpdatedThe hunt lasts from 11am – 11pm ET on St Patrick’s Day (Monday, 3/17). Your goal is to see if you can find the Shamrocks that lead to a pot of gold (Bonus Swag Bucks)! Throughout the day they will reveal Shamrocks through “Official Messages” on different pages on their website. When you see one of these Shamrocks appear you must click on it to claim the Shamrock. You will then be asked to confirm – just to be sure it’s yours. Only a limited number of Shamrocks will be available and once that number has been claimed it will disappear.
Each Shamrock claimed = 1 Bonus Swag Buck added to your account within that hour (it will not credit immediately but will within 60 minutes).
But don’t worry if you miss out on a Shamrock because another will be appearing somewhere else across the site in a matter of time. These Shamrocks could appear on any swagbucks.com page at any time between 11 am and 11 pm.
This is the first time I have seen them offer this kind of event. It will be interesting to see how hard it is to get the shamrocks. Post if you find them!
How do you get these super Swag Bucks? Each time you need to search for something online, use the Swagbucks search engine on their website (instead of Google). I actually have the Swagbucks toolbar installed on my desktop and it places a search box right on my screen making it super easy to search. Every once in a while, they award Swag Bucks just for doing the searches I used to do using Google. There are also a number of other ways to earn Swag Bucks including taking surveys, answering polls, watching videos, playing games, referring friends and more.
