FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Two students were taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Friday morning after a small SUV hit the back of a school bus in west Fayetteville. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital.

All Miller, transportation director for Cumberland County Schools, said 41 students headed to Morganton Elementary School were on board the bus, which was stopped at the corner of Morganton Road and McFayden Drive.

Miller said the students had no visible injuries and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

"Everybody seems to be OK at this time. We have two kids that we just want to check out," Miller said.
