Authorities were investigating a suspicious fire early Monday at an unoccupied home in northwest Fayetteville.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Authorities were investigating a suspicious fire early Monday at an unoccupied home in northwest Fayetteville.

Fire crews responded to 1519 Slater Ave. at about 7:30 a.m. Investigators said the fire started in a closet. No injuries were reported, and minor damage was reported.

No other information about the fire has been released.
