Suspect taken into custody after Durham police pursuit

Police said they started following the suspect’s vehicle because they believed it had been stolen. Authorities are investigating the case.

DURHAM, N.C. — One suspect was taken into custody for questioning after a police chase in Durham Thursday afternoon.

Police said they started following the suspect’s vehicle because they believed it had been stolen. Authorities are investigating the case.

During the pursuit, a minor accident occurred near the intersection of Mineral Springs and Willow Springs roads. There were no injuries, police said.

The suspect’s name was not released.
