— Police are searching for a man suspected in the shooting death of a 24-year-old man last Friday.

On Monday, investigators named Quentin Antonio Harper, 22, of 719 Branch St., as suspect in the slaying of Amir Anderson, of Rocky Mount.

Shortly after 8 p.m. Friday, police found Anderson dead in the front yard of Harper's home. Anderson had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

I live hear in Rocky Mt. and I would have not thought in a million years that there would have been so many murders. It has grown with so much crime. We have nothing on Durham and other surrrouding areas. It's not safe anywhere now.
