Suspect sought in McDonald's hold-up in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to identify the man in this photo in connection with the Nov. 1, 2013, armed robbery of McDonald's at 542 Grove St.

— Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a McDonald's Friday night.

Surveillance images show a man between age 20 and 25 wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and white shoes who police say walked into the fast-food restaurant, at 542 Grove St., jumped over the front counter, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The man fled out of the back of the building.

Anyone with information that could help investigators is asked to contact the Fayetteville Police Department at 910-916-2764 or Crime Stoppers at 910-483-8477.
