Suspect sought in McDonald's hold-up in Fayetteville

Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a McDonald's Friday night.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Fayetteville police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who robbed a McDonald's Friday night.

Surveillance images show a man between age 20 and 25 wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and white shoes who police say walked into the fast-food restaurant, at 542 Grove St., jumped over the front counter, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The man fled out of the back of the building.
